If you prefer first class "cuisine" and you are willing to spend some more money, you will be happy with Munichs scene. More than one restaurant has been honoured with stars by the Guide Michelin. We strictly recommend an early enough reservation.

Bistro Terrine
In the middle of a nice open air patio the Bistro Terrine offers french cuisine par excellence - which includes first class wines. Gourmet-cook Werner Licht creates delicious and often unexpected combinations. The rooms inside are fitted in very nice art nouveau style.

Salon Zazou
In autumn 1999 the german star-cook Hans Peter Wodarz opened his new restaurant, a real palace of Art-Deco. It's situated in an old departurehall of the airport Riem, which is now under monument protection. Here you can try Wodarz' newest creations in a really unforgettable atmosphere.

Tantris
The Tantris is without any doubt the best-known first-class-restaurant in Munich. In every gourmet-guide you will find the Tantris at least mentioned, mostly recommended. This is first and foremost the merrit of Hans Haas, the "chef-cuisinier". Very famous is also Paula Bosch, its excellent and very pleasant Sommelière.
