Kunsthaus Lübeck
The facade of the Lübecker Kunsthaus may look plain, but art lovers will find lots of treasures behind it. There are prints, books and sketches from 3 centuries, so visitors should bring some time to browse through the shelves. The largest room on the ground floor is home to works of art from 1900 until the present day. World famous painters like Horst Janssen and Günter Grass, but also local artists are on display here, and you can purchase their works. Upstairs, you can visit exhibitions. There is no admission, and sculptures, jewellery and other hand-crafted pieces of comtemporary art are also displayed here. You will definitely find a nice Lübeck souvenir or a special present at the Kunsthaus.

Galerie Bilderhaus Bornemann
The Bilderhaus Bornemann is located within historic walls and offers nice old objects like pieces of furniture and small antiques, as well as recent works of art. A permanent exhibition presents international artists and their works, representing different styles. Among the artists shown here are Rainer Liebhold and Anna Barry of Lübeck with some of their works, Marianna Fedorova from Munich with her gouaches, Irina Kolesnikova from Moscow with woven pictures and Ellen Shire from New York with her acrylic and wax crayon pictures.

Galerie Mystik
Visitors will find beautiful oil- paintings in various sizes at the tiny "Mystik" gallery. The pictures will inspire the observer to dream and send him or her on a mystic journey. But other objects are also to be found here in addition to those fantastic works. Apart from Celtic jewellery there are also magical and artistic amulets from various cultural circles. But if you haven´t got enough room at home or lack the money to purchase these works of art, you can also get mystic illustrations and pictures in the shape of postcards and little posters here.

Galerie Stewner
This gallery is located inside an Old Town building which has been put under a preservation order, and it has beautiful objects in perfect shapes on display - modern skilled crafts like pottery, glass objects, jewellery, tapestry and curtains, but also sculptures. Paintings and other works of art are presented in changing exhibitions. Old Tibetian glass pearls with silver and Karneol details have been arranged into beautiful mystic necklaces which you can purchase.The pleasant atmosphere of the showrooms makes you feel comfortable, and you will get some good advice here.

Galerie Werkstatt Caroline Rügge
The gallery inside a beautiful Old Town building presents artistic jewellery, containers and objects. You can purchase Karin Bablok pottery. Fascinating necklaces are available. The works of various guest artists are also very tempting - they complete the changing exhibitions here.

Galerie Koch-Westenhoff
The gallery mainly presents 20th century works of art. You will find paintings and sculptures of various styles here. If you are looking for a particular piece, the staff will assist you in tracing and purchasing the desired object.
