Canoeing, rowing, yachting, water skiing on the Moselle, regatta course and yacht harbour near Monaise Manor. Flying and gliding: airfield at Föhren (17 km or 11 Mi north-east of Trier). Equestrian sport: Trimmelter Hof, Olewig. Freizeitanlage Diedenhofener Strasse: tennis, squash, ice-skating. Fishing: in the Moselle and its tributaries.

Indoor swimming pool: Südallee (Stadtbad); outdoor swimming pools, heated: Nordbad (Zurmaiener Strasse) and Südbad (An der Härenwies).
