Finding a nice place to have a little rest and drink a coffee is not a problem in Heidelberg. Both the flair as student town and the many international visitors ensure a broad variety of bars and cafes.
Similar to restaurants, one finds a major part of bars and cafes in Old Town or adjacent to popular sights. If you are going out for a drink, you may just walk on Hauptstraße or Untere Straße to find a location you like.
