Medical Services Round the clock doctor service. The University Clinic at Theodor Stern Kai 7 in Sachsenhausen is a good place to go for a midnight emergency. If you look for a pharmacy that is open at night just find the first pharmacy and look which one has duty. It is always indicated at the window.

Bookshops There is a British bookshop in the Boerserstrasse at no. 17. It has a really good collection.
Hugendubel at the Steinweg also has English books. It is a cosy place where you can sit and read the books you consider buying.
In the railway station you can get English and American magazines at Schmitt and Hahn. They also have fiction novels. At the airport these are easily found as well.
