Zoological Garden The zoological garden Worms offers the visitor a possibility to have a quiet meeting with the local fauna, even with species that have been extinct in the area since days of old. Come and see red deer, wolves, boars, "Heidschnucken" (moorland sheep) and even the largest herd of Fernendez-goats. Many birds are also dwelling here, owls and other birds of prey as well as ducks, geese, herons and storks.
A special note, however, concerning the house of exotic wildlife is in order here. There you will find a host of tropical plants and animals, like reptiles, parrots, snakes and alligators. Baboons, flamingos and ostriches contribute to making the Worms zoological garden a discovery of the very special kind.
